The automotive RGB fiber optic light engine is a high-performance lighting system that combines RGB (red, green, blue) multi-color light sources with fiber optic transmission technology. It is mainly used for automotive interior atmosphere lighting, exterior decorative lighting or special functional lighting (such as dynamic lighting effects).
1. Technical features
High uniformity: The end of the optical fiber is diffused or microstructured to eliminate light spots and achieve soft and uniform line light effects (such as door panel light strips and center console contour lights).
Dynamic effects: Supports advanced effects such as running lights, marquees, and color cycles, with a response speed of milliseconds.
Lightweight and flexibility: Optical fiber can be bent and wired to adapt to complex in-vehicle spaces and reduce the weight of traditional wiring harnesses.
Low power consumption: LED light efficiency > 100lm/W, optical fiber transmission loss < 5%/m.
Anti-interference: Optical fiber is not subject to electromagnetic interference and is suitable for the high-voltage environment of electric vehicles.
2. Application scenarios
Interior ambient lighting: instrument panel, door trim, footwell lighting, cup holder lighting.
Exterior decoration: grille lights, logo lights, underbody contour lights (waterproof design required).
HMI interaction: driving mode (such as sports/energy saving), charging status, etc. are indicated by light color changes.
