FC/APC-E2000/APC/SX/MM/50/3.0/10M Glass Fiber Patch Cord LSZH/PVC Single Mode Patch Cord Fiber Jumpers

Glass optical fiber is an optical fiber with glass as the core transmission medium. It is also the most widely used type of optical fiber. Its essence is to use the light-guiding properties of glass to achieve long-distance transmission of optical signals through the principle of total reflection. It is a key basic component in modern communications, sensing, medical and other fields.

Main Features:

1. Materials and Structure

High-purity glass: The core is usually doped with silicon to increase the refractive index, and the cladding is pure silicon or fluorine-doped glass. Double-layer structure: The core and cladding are made of single-mode fiber with a diameter of about 8-10μm

2. Ultra-low loss

Extremely low attenuation: It can be as low as 0.15~0.2dB/km in the 1550nm range, which is far superior to that of plastic optical fiber and copper cable.

Low dispersion: Single-mode optical fiber can achieve zero dispersion near 1310nm wavelength, which is suitable for high-speed long-distance transmission.

3. High bandwidth and high speed

Single-mode optical fiber: Supports Tbps-level transmission, used in backbone networks and submarine optical cables.

Multimode optical fiber: high-speed and short-distance transmission.

4. Excellent anti-interference

Complete dielectric characteristics: completely immune to electromagnetic interference,

lightning and radio frequency interference.

No radiation: no signal leakage, and high privacy.

5. Mechanical properties

High strength: protected by a coating layer, the tensile strength can reach 100 kpsi.

Flexible and bendable: the minimum bending radius can reach 5 mm, but it is necessary to avoid micro-bending loss.

6. Long service life and reliability

Slow aging: the service life exceeds 25 years without physical damage.

High stability: the light attenuation characteristics change very little over time, and frequent

maintenance is not required.

Application scenarios:

1. Communication network: long-distance trunk line, metropolitan area network, FTTH.

2. Special fields: Sensors: fiber optic gyroscope, temperature/voltage monitoring.

Medical: endoscope, laser surgical light guide.

Industrial: signal transmission in high temperature and strong electromagnetic environment.
