Basic concepts of HCS/PCF optical fiber:
HCS® (Hard Clad Silica Fiber)
Structure: quartz core + hard polymer cladding (usually 200μm in diameter)
Features: better bending resistance than standard glass fiber, lower cost than all-glass fiber, but lower bandwidth (suitable for short distances).
PCF (Polymer Clad Fiber)
Structure: glass core + soft polymer cladding (such as silicone)
Features: excellent flexibility, often used in medical endoscopes or industrial sensors.
HCS/PCF Fiber Optic Connector TOCP-155
1.Performance characteristics: large transmission bandwidth, strong anti-electromagnetic interference ability, good flexibility and vibration resistance, stable and reliable signal transmission. The operating temperature range is usually - 20℃ to 70℃, easy to install and connect, and no maintenance or repair is required.
2.Applicable fiber type: usually applicable to HCS fiber or PCF, which has high numerical aperture, large core diameter and wide working wavelength characteristics.
3.Application field: mainly used for short-distance data transmission, widely used in industrial automation control bus systems, industrial robots, intelligent systems and servo systems, communication switching systems, digital multimedia systems, medical sensor systems and power systems.
HCS/PCF Fiber Connector TOCP-100
1.Basic composition: plastic sheath, metal insert, and Japanese imported optical fiber.
2.Product certification: Passed European RoHS and CE certification, in line with relevant environmental protection and safety standards
3. Applicable fiber: HCS 200/230μm fiber optic cable is usually used. HCS fiber is also called PCF fiber, which has a high numerical aperture of 0.37, a large core diameter of 200-1000μm, and a wide operating wavelength.
4. Performance characteristics: large transmission bandwidth, strong anti-electromagnetic interference ability, good flexibility and vibration resistance, stable and reliable signal transmission. It adopts a quick crimping method, without baking curing and polishing steps, suitable for installation on-site construction.
5. Standards and compatibility: Complies with RoHS standards and Japanese JIS C5974-1998 industrial standards. Compatible with Toshiba Toslink F05 interface universal optical link transceiver, and also compatible with Sumitomo's DF-1710/T and other models. It is also compatible with a variety of fiber optic connectors such as CF-1071 and CF-1571.
Instructions for use:
1. Check that the connector model matches the device interface and confirm that the optical fiber is not damaged.
2. First, strip the outer sheath of the optical fiber and insert it into the end of the connector. Second, rotate the connector plug, align it with the device interface slot, and gently push it in until the buckle is fastened. Finally, after the connection, check whether the optical signal transmission is stable and check the status of the device indicator light.
