Engineered for Demanding Motion Applications
Asahi Kasei's PMC and MCQ series cables are specifically designed to meet the rigorous demands of modern automation systems and robotic applications. Our high-flex industrial cables combine exceptional durability with reliable signal and power transmission in continuous motion environments.
Material and performance: The fiber provides good light-guiding performance within the visible light wavelength range, ensuring efficient optical transmission.
Physical properties: It features high breaking strength, elasticity, and excellent durability. The fiber is lightweight, flexible, and resistant to damage, making it suitable for cutting, arranging, grinding, and other processing.
Environmental adaptability: The fiber offers strong weather resistance. Long-term UV exposure may cause slight yellowing of the bare fiber. It is immune to electromagnetic noise and performs reliably in complex environments.
Transmission characteristics: High bandwidth and high transmission speed enable stable and efficient high-speed data transmission.
Temperature, pressure, and displacement sensors. Also used in biomedical and chemical sensing to measure contamination levels in water treatment fluids and for medical diagnostics.
Radiation detection. Plastic optical fiber emits blue light when exposed to radiation, enabling the development of lower-cost radiation detectors for industrial and medical devices.
Engineering structural safety monitoring. Used for monitoring damage and fractures in civil structures. The fiber provides higher tensile and alkali resistance compared with quartz fiber.
Environmental monitoring in industrial, agricultural, biological, and medical applications. Optical humidity sensors can detect changes in optical properties including spectral variations.
